Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely no pets are allowed onto the Oregon Winterfest premises. Service Animal are allowed per ADA and Oregon State Law policies.
Where is ADA Parking located?
ADA parking is available at the corner of Shevlin Hixon and Simpson Ave
When and where is the VIP Lounge?
Friday Only from 6pm-9:30pm in Arts Central Building off Shevlin-Hixon Rd. All guest must have their VIP Pass or VIP Wristbands for entry.
How many years has WinterFest been around?
This is the 18th Anniversary of the event
Who owns/produces the event?
Produced by Lay It Out Events— a local Bend, OR company
Who is the beneficiary?
A portion of ticket sales goes to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon who provides qualified, trained and supervised mentors for youth in our community
Where is the Kids Area Located?
Behind the Les Schwab Amphitheater grassy lot along the river (West Entrance)
Where can I buy Alcoholic Beverages?
There are 3 bars selling 10 Barrel Beer, Whole Foods Wine, Atlas Cider and Crater Lake Cocktailsl. 1st is located at the East Entrance (Old Mill Footbridge) by the Les Schwab Amphitheater Ticket Office, the 2nd is located next to the U.S. Cellular Chalet Music Tent. The 3rd is in the Bent Lounge. Atlas Cider , Crater Lake Spirits and Whole Foods will have sampling and sell TO-GO bottles in the Marketplace tents.
Where can I get food?
Food Vendors are located along Shevlin Hixon Rd on both sides of the Bent Lounge Tent as well as a vendor near the Fire Pits/East Entrance.
Is the Bent Lounge 21+?
No, all ages are welcome
Where can I register for the Royal Run or Hot Cocoa Run?
Online registration is live for Royal Run or Hot Cocoa Run until Thursday 2/16. You can register for both runs at the information tent the day prior to the race or at the race start 30 minutes prior to race start. (Both starts are located on grassy area of Les Schwab Amphitheater)
Where is the ice carving/fire pits?
Ice Carvings are along the path of the South Entrance by the Market Place and across from the Info Booth.
Fire Pits are located along the path of the East Entrance
Where and When are the fireworks?
There are no fireworks this year
Can I get in with my Mt. Bachelor Season Pass?
Yes but an additional piece of ID is required and it must be a 2016/2017 Alpine season pass. No 10-day, 4-day, Spring, or Nordic Passes, nor day tickets or last years passes will be accepted.
Are Children Free?
Yes, 2 and under can get in free. Family Passes can be purchased for families of 4 at the discounted rate of $36. Must include atleast 2 children 18 or younger.
I only want to go to the concert, do I still have to pay the entrance fee?
Yes, Passes are only $12 and include all entertainment performances and are valid for the entire weekend.
Aside from Mt. Bachelor Season Passes and children 2 and under, there is no free entry- no exceptions. Vendors, press, ice carvers, VIPs, volunteers, etc. should all have entry passes or specific badges.
