Lay It Out Events proudly supports local nonprofits & community organizations

Every year, a portion of proceeds from OnPoint Community Credit Union Oregon WinterFest is donated to a local nonprofit. In 2023, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon returns as this year’s beneficiary!

Our mentors help foster:

  • Higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships
  • Avoidance of risky behaviors
  • Educational success

Providing one-to-one mentoring for kids in need of supportive role models

Mission Statement: To provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Big Brothers Big Sisters offers effective mentoring programs that improve the lives of our community’s youth. These programs deeply engage communities through collaboration with families, mentors, community funders, schools and other partners. Offering a variety of programs to meet community and youth needs.

Community-Based Mentoring: Adults and children are paired in one-to-one mentoring relationships and participate in a variety of activities out in the community. As a traditional Big Brother or Big Sister, you will meet with your Little Brother or Sister for 6-12 hours a month in the community.

School-Based Mentoring: Children are matched with adults or high school students who meet with them at a set time every week in their school, work on homework, visit the library, play outside — or enjoy lunch together!

Support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon

Volunteer at the 2023 OnPoint Community Credit Union Oregon WinterFestBig Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon provides over 100 volunteers to Oregon WinterFest. For every volunteer that supports the event, $50-$100 will be donated to the organization.

Lay It Out Events

Lay It Out Events produces more than 20 festivals, races and contract events each year. For each ticketed event and race, LIOE donates a portion of proceeds to local nonprofit organizations. Through our beneficiaries, we raise awareness and much-needed funds for vital nonprofit groups across the Northwest. In the past 10 years, LIOE has donated over $300,000 to local charities and nonprofits.
