Sugar Hill Gang
Friday Night
Friday Night @ 7pm
In 1979, the Sugarhill Gang crashed through the walls of the urban cities and into the mainstream of society with the first worldwide rap hit, "Rapper's Delight." Two of the original members of this historic group, Wonder Mike (Michael Wright) and Master Gee (Guy O’Brien) had teamed up with Henry Jackson (pka Big Bank Hank) to become the now famous Sugarhill Gang.

From the moment they start playing, they have a sound that’s entirely their own. It’s a little bluesy, a little country, and a lot of soul infused magic. Brought together by a shared love of all styles of music, TNJ is known for their 4 part harmonies and gritty vocals, held together by an upright bass, a fiddle and two guitars. The groups sound isn’t so much about the notes they sing or play, but more about how their music makes you feel.

Phillip Austin is the front man and Mother Trucker of the Sleepless Truckers. He’s proud to say he lives in Redmond, Oregon. Phillip grew up in Oklahoma the son of a UAW auto worker and did a stint in the Navy right out of high school. It was no accident he found himself in CO the summer of 2017 after leaving Nashville in search for the perfect beer and music scene.
Phillip Austin acoustic solos give you an intimate look at an American Outlaw Country Singer and Songwriter. He plays your favorite covers and originals while sharing stories about them and his experiences he’s had along the way. Phillip spent 10 years in Nashville pickin’ and grinin’ in the Broadway honkytonks rubbing elbows with every manner of people you can imagine from the top country superstars to the buskers on the sidewalks and everyone in between. He’s drawn to songs about the poor, hard-living working class, the good times and the bad, the beauty of life and its sorrows, songs about mamas, trains, trucks, prison and getting drunk…American. Outlaw. Country.
We are a Blues/Rock Fusion Band. We play a wide variety of musical stylings but our sweet spot is the blues/rock. We have several originals that will be on our first debut album. At our live shows we add in several crowd favorite cover songs from top artists such as Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash and The Beatles.
The first members of the band were Cruz Asbell (bass player) Tamra Asbell (Lead vocals and guitarist) Jeremy Johnson (lead vocals and guitarist) and Brooke Miracle (vocalist). They quickly became friends while meeting at a local home church. They started enjoying music together and it blossomed into something more. Soon Tyrell Beatty (lead electric guitarist) joined the crew by a happy coincidence and about a year after that Steven Martinez completed the band with his mad drum skills, exactly what they had been needing.
The Mostest is a collective of musicians from Bend, Oregon, fronted by singer-songwriter Mark Ransom and bassist-producer Patrick Pearsall. Cultivating guitar-driven, “heavy Americana” from seeds of Southern rock, San Franciscan psychedelia, classic soul, and jazz, The Mostest’s sound emerged in an effort to fulfill its mission: “Serve the music.” Now celebrating the performance of 1000 live shows, and the release of their fourth album, Teleport People, this Bend, Oregon, original has grown up from aprés-ski roots at home and on the road.
SUNDAY, FEB. 19

After winning his first local singing competition in 1998, Zac Grooms has become not only a locally known singer/songwriter/guitarist, but also a Nashville and Northwest recording artist, music producer, and band leader for Northwest country music group Brewer’s Grade Band. Zac has written/co-written over 60 songs including a number one on the independent country charts in 1999 (If I Had My Way), a Christmas song for “The Least Of These” a wonderful independent Christmas movie released in 2019 (Kid at Christmas Time), and a single release by fellow country artist Jessie Leigh called “irresistible”. Zac continues to make a name for himself on the northwest music industry by always finding new ways to create, share, and connect country music in the northwest and west coast.

DiRT is a rock and roll band. We just don’t play rock and roll instruments. Doc Ryan on acoustic guitar, banjo and harmonica, Steve Knapp on upright bass, Larry Gregerson on whatever else. Oh yea, the drums are played on an antique suitcase. Ready to rock?
DiRT digs deep into the American music vault of sound, stories, and songs.
Doc Ryan’s originals are inspired by years of travel in the American West. Steve and his college band, Black Ghost, opened for the likes of Santana, The Doors, Janis and Jefferson Airplane At The Fillmore West in the Psychedelic Hey Day.
Larry says “if it has strings I can pick it”. He has been Pickin it in Seattle, Philly, and Dallas Tx. for years.
The Antique Suitcase- well that’s a story
As a group DiRT has been stirring it up in Central Oregon in 2019. Come on out!
Hang on to your hats-The Dust Devils are blowing through central Oregon to take you on a tour of piedmont blues, Classic Country, Jazz, Folk, Roots and Swing music. Cascade blues hall of fame inductee Stu Kinzel will be joined by Jim Roy on guitar/mandolin, Maggie Barclay Jackson on vocals/bass and Steve Beaudry on harp.
SATURDAY, FEB. 18
Based in Oregon with Appalachian roots, the Miller Twins cut their musical teeth over 20 years ago in a local midwest bar scene. Ben and Nat bring guitar, mandolin, tenor banjo, and blood harmony to the stage. Influenced by John Prine, Texas singer songwriters, and acoustic sets of the Grateful Dead, the twins blur the lines between folk and bluegrass music. With the lyricism of folk and the drive of bluegrass, their sound is uniquely their own. They are pure acoustic and purely entertaining!
Gushing reviews surround Shipe’s multi-genred Americana work. His last two projects — Yellow House and Villain — charted in 6 countries on 3 continents. The Beast Is Back is previewing to the same promising reception, going deep with love songs for grown-ups, triumphant anthems, slow-burn reflections, rollicking stompers, and elegies. Vividly drawn characters are treated with empathy, humor, passion, and swagger. Producer Tyler Fortier (Anna Tivel, Jeffrey Martin) enriches the acoustic palette, gathering Pacific Northwest all-stars’ pedal steel, piano & organ, strings, horns, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, and Shipe’s fine slide guitar, honed on years of touring as an electric front man. Shipe has opened for Bob Dylan, Taj Mahal, Keb Mo, Derek Trucks, Cake, Jerry Joseph, Los Lobos, Hootie & Blowfish, Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, Jimmy Cliff etc. He takes command of any-sized stage, solo or accompanied. Nominated for Best Original Song at the Los Angeles International Indie Short Film Festival, Shipe music is cinematic. Two songs appear in the AOF award-winning Vicktory to the Underdog, nominated for Best Soundtrack. (“Pit Bull Blues” has received million YouTube hits.) Thirty-six Shipe tunes have rotated on over a 100 independent and commercial radio stations.
Raised on a diet of Old Testament hellfire and damnation-style preaching, fresh venison, powdered milk, and freeze-dried potatoes, Jeshua grew up working class and country. His family split their time between his Scots-Irish Mum’s hometown of Summerland, British Columbia and his American Pop’s Baker City, Oregon. A healthy dose of rock and roll radio accompanied car rides to and from church; and a backdrop of Canadian Folk resonated from grandma’s, cousins’, uncles’ and aunties’ guitars and mandolins along the dirt roads of the Okanogan Valley. Jeshua fell in love with music at a very young age. He was called, in a dream, by the fierce electric guitar of Jimi Hendrix. At 9, he was put on his life path when he received his first acoustic guitar from his father and mother.
Rebellion became the natural inclination for young Jeshua as he became increasingly aware of the contradictions in his religious conservative environment. He was heavily influenced by secular music, considered contraband, smuggled into their judeo-christian household by his brave older brother Jamin. Being exposed to this raw form of art at 11-years-old changed his life forever. With albums like Bad Religion’s – ‘Stranger Than Fiction’, Rancid’s – ‘And Out Comes The Wolves’, and NOFX’s Heavy Petting Zoo, Jeshua’s eyes were blasted open by punk music’s 3 distorted chords. At 16, Jeshua and Jamin formed the grimy, fast, and loud punk band Larry And His Flask. Larry later morphed into one of the most instrumental Folk-Punk bands of their era, touring relentlessly and influencing the genre permanently.
At the closing of Larry And His Flask in 2019, Jeshua immediately poured himself head over heels into the next chapter of his musical life. He began focusing on forming his smooth, centered, and rough around the edges vocal style, and honing in on his honest and reflective lyrics. Jeshua released his debut solo album ‘Shoot The Moon’ in the midst of the pandemic in September 2021. He continues to grow his fanbase in the states and internationally with over one-hundred-thousand streams on Spotify and Youtube. Recently, Jeshua received the Best New Artist award from People’s Choice Award in his home of Bend, OR, and has received acclaim from local and international press. Having shared the stage with artists like, Dirtwire, Fishbone, Willy Tea Taylor, Possessed by Paul James, Bridge City Sinners and more.
We’re a small swing group from Bend, Oregon specializing in Django-style jazz, tunes from the Great American Songbook and beyond.
In this sub-genre of jazz–inspired by Belgian Gypsy guitar wizard, Django Reinhardt–you’ll find tunes with names like Swing 39, Swing 42, and Swing 48, all named for the year in which they were written. We took our name from the latitude of Bend, Oregon.
This music will put a smile on your face and a bounce in your stride. Actual melodies! It’s jazz for people who don’t like jazz. That’s right, it’s Gateway-Jazz. You might even leave whistling some of these tunes. Come have a listen.
Joel Chadd writes and plays songs that are brutally honest and open hearted. His themes are universal, but the songs feel as if they were written just for you. His melodies dance between soulful vocals and passionate guitar playing, drawing the listener ever-so-close. These are songs that explore the full range of human emotions we all navigate.
Founded in the growing open mic scene in and around Bend, Billy and the Box kid is a hard hitting Country band that will leave you thinking you just went to a Punk show.
Singer/song writer Anderson Koenig leads under the stage name “Billy” utilizing his unique country blues voice with his fast paced original songs. Accompanied by cofounder Scottie “The Box Kid” McClelland, a seasoned percussionist, who brings a traditional sound and constant energy through his box drum or “cajon”.
Together they created Billy and the Box Kid and have since added two other local talented musicians. Tommy Lutz or “Mr T on the Mando”, a string instrument specialist and guitar maker, Tommy brings the bluegrass jam sound by playing mandolin. Along with Tyler Bolts, a Oregon born, versatile, talented singer/songwriter/musican who covers the low end on bass guitar.
SUNDAY, FEB. 19
So Much Closer is a songwriting project led by wife/husband duo, Holly Davidson and Jeff Bethke. Their music can best be described as retro pop with folk, blues, and soul influence.
They moved to Bend, Oregon in the summer of 2021 and began collaborating on original music after many years of haphazardly playing guitar and singing covers around the house.
So Much Closer can be seen playing around Central Oregon at local musician nights, wineries, breweries – anywhere with live music.
A multi-instrumentalist (acoustic and electric guitar, five-string banjo) with a wide range of influences spanning Appalachian string music, old country, and contemporary folk, Burt pulls inspiration from a wide vocabulary of American root forms to create a sound full of stunning imagery and melodic depth. Born in the American Midwest to a long ancestry of craftsmen, farmers, and teachers, Burt has been seeding his own unique craft through the art of song since childhood. His lyrics tell a story of miles traveled, landscapes gone by, lovers won and lost, and the search for a sense of place in an ever increasingly complex world. Time spent living in different regions of the U.S. (Appalachia, Northeast, Midwest, Southwest, and Pacific Northwest) has deeply informed his playing and songwriting, exposing Burt to numerous local and regional musical acts, and allowing him to develop an engaging, dynamic, and diverse musical style. Music has been the well-traveled suitcase he carries on his journeys.
Erin Cole-Baker was born in the USA and raised in the beach filled rural Northland of New Zealand. Her songwriting and live delivery comes from a place of great honesty and beauty, lead by her gorgeous silvery voice and extraordinary sense of melody. Erins’ songs are deep, gritty reflections on being human, guided by rich velvety vocals on both electric and acoustic guitars.
Erin called Oregon home for six years in which she released Talon and Spur in 2009 and Big Sky in 2011, and where she established herself as “One of the more constant and compelling voices on the Central Oregon music scene” (GO! Magazine), becoming a Breedlove artist and returning to her roots in New Zealand to raise a family.
After a seven year break to focus on raising her two daughters, Cole-Baker released her album “Till the Feeling’s Right” in May 2018. Erin was funded by Outward Sound (NZ) to attend the International Folk Alliance Conference in Kansas City, and in August and September toured through California, Oregon and Washington.
In May 2019 Erin and her family moved to the USA, bought an RV and toured the Northwest playing music at Festivals, venues and house concerts to connect with a larger community. Erin played as the Breedlove Guitar chosen artist for Sisters Folk Festival in 2018 and has recently opened for Sean Hayes and Joseph at the Tower Theatre and again calls Bend Oregon home.
Erin is also part of Little Ripples, who have released their debut self titled album of sweet harmony filled family music in 2018 and Rise and Fall in Nov 2019.

The Pizza Cart produces 10” hand rolled thin crust pizzas. We believe that by using quality product from local purveyors we will simply produce a more delicious pizza. We make our dough and sauce from scratch using less than 7 ingredients in each. We buy from local farmers and organic goods when seasons permit. Our personal thin crust pizza delights our hungry guests. We offer gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, egg free and soy free options and pride ourselves on catering to even the most restrictive diets.
We have an extremely low ecological footprint using an Oregon cob brick oven and the only waste the cart leaves is biodegradable paper plates and napkins.
